Most of the scammer sites offer super deep 'discounts' if you pay via BTC. After you realize you've been scammed, check the BTC balance of the address you sent the money to. It'll piss you off.

He paid a fake Hont, not the real Hont. This is the result of going to a scammer's fake website designed to fool people by impersonating a TD.

You might want to contact a mod to get your account fixed btw.

I did pay Hont, but only after losing ~$500 to a scammer first.

I don't know how I got there, but I landed on a legit-looking website with a legit-looking domain name and assumed it was the real deal. I found out after never receiving a receipt or follow-up to my 'order.' A few days later, I contacted Hont on WhatsApp and was served the bad news. That bruised my ego more than anything because I shouldn't have fallen for a scam. I can only laugh now at the 30% CNY discount they were offering. 30%. lol, no.

Oh well, live and learn. Hont's the real deal, and I know better going forward.
