They have traditional pam color schemes and semi reasonable prices. I have not yet personally ordered from them yet, but am planning on purchacing a black/black croc for a 196 project.

LOL, those say right on their description they are 2mm thick.
I think the best method is going to be custom. But you would pay more for the strap than the watch.

No you are looking at the same as me. I was looking at the deployment ones. You are looking at the buckle ones. Still those are not 5mm or thicker. I am getting ready to do a little strap exhibit for everyone to show the differences. Hopefully in a couple days.
And although I cannot prove this, at those prices it may not be gen crocodile or gator. I know they say it is, but you could claim that, if the pattern was gen. Like I said, I am not sure, but it looks that way. Still great leather.
bbell6 said:After reviewing the various straps on the various sites suggested, I think I could have worded my question better. Most croc/gator bands are generally 2mm to 3mm at the edges and padded in the middle (maybe up to 5mm). However, I prefer straps with a consistent thickness from edge to center. For example, if you look at the pictures Highflyingclive posted, the first picture is an example of what I'm accustomed to seeing in a croc/gator strap. The second picture of the OEM is listed as 1mm smaller than the first picture, but it has a thicker side profile, and I'm guessing it is a more substantial band (never seen an OEM in person). The third picture is starting to hit the thickness range with the side profile, but, it is not a croc/gator. I am looking for a band like that or thicker in a croc/gator. I hope this clarifies my question. I apologize if someone has already pointed out such a band in an earlier post, but I if they have, I have overlooked it.
Thanks again for everyones assistance.

Kinda expensive though
