I would love a VSF quality sub with improved sunburst effect without the rainbow effect in direct sunlight.

no afaik, the new VSF is way too dark by default, has nothing to do with the gen tone
Closest overall is Clean and used to be ARF

I tried searching but couldn’t find an answer: are there any notable improvements between these two serial numbers?

Would you say that, as of 02/02/2025, the best-case scenario with minimal modifications is using a current VSF base and swapping in a Clean dial? And if someone wants a watch straight out of the box with no modifications, is the consensus still that VSF offers better all-around aesthetics compared to Clean?
