guys, I have this from several sources, also from Uwe, the weak part on the diver is the crown on 10.
The latch which will move the inner bezel is very weak and can break very easy. So my advise is, test it out but do not use it for cooking eggs every day.

Yes, this happened to me.
I unscrewed the crown at 10 and it fell off in my hand!

My replacement diver should arrive tomorrow but I won't be touching it again.....

So the "gear" mechanism that moves the inner bezel is the weak part? Or is it the retention mechanism of the crown??

guess il have to settle for hard boiled eggs. =)

Is there anyway to get it more durable from a service? or do we have to pray that the next version will improve on this.

My diver is coming in this week. thanks for the info.

the problem is the part itself, made out of plastic

Do we have pictures of this weak part? And I don't get one thing: once the crown falls off, it can not be screwed back? I would really like to see any pictures of this weak mechanism/parts because I just bought one of these divers second-hand, and I am afraid I will have this surprise when I receive the watch. I would like to create a fix to this issue beforehand.

Who is saying that the crown cannot be screwed back in? The part which moves the bezel forward just brakes off, so you cannot move the bezel.
And here is a picture which Uwe took

Thanks for the pics guru big help.

So im guessing if it did come lose it and was screwed back on it would affect the water resistance of the watch ? unless you screw it back on very tight ?

No, your stem was broken at the same place.

To make it more clear:

On the first picture you see the gear that transport the inner bezel on the first level.
The combination between steel from the stem, cast iron from the gear and plastic from the inner bezel is not the best solution.
You can turn the inner bezel only anti clockwise - if you want to turn it clockwise it looks with the ring on level two that you see in picture 2.

It needs only a little preasure to break the stem.

So please be carefull with using the inner bezel !

Dont durn the Crown clockwarts = noted

@hizack
seems to be difficult to fix without rebuilding the hole part.

The "predetermined breaking point" is where the C clamp goes, right?

Can't the magical hipodermic syringes be used to fix this stem when broken? I guess there is a chance...

If this is a major problem (which it already seems that is), it will get fixed, else the dealers/factories will have constant "guarantee" problems. If any of our trusted ones read this, should chime in at the facts., and hopefully they will either issue a modified stem or supply it as a spare part.

To me it looks a silly problem and an easy fix on the factoty's side.
