I am getting married this summer to my beautiful fiance and the burning question I keep asking myself is - is she the one?

No, not the fiance, the Noob 390 I am planning to get for the special day. Is she the one for me??

Which PAM would you/did you choose for your special day?

hmm good call Norrie - not sure. Funny thing is, I have pretty much figured out the PAM, but have no clue what I will wear yet.
It's going to be outdoors in Napa, CA so pretty sure I won't be wearing a black tux!



Keep posting up suggestions, plus would love to know what you guys chose as your timepiece for the day (for those of you who are married that is!)

IMO I would go with a dresser PAM. 45mm Radiomir. 210, 183, 380, or even the new 42mm 1940's.

Match the band to the shoes and belt you will wear. Classy look for a classy day..

Its really a tough call. I do wear luminor PAMs with a suit, but not if i am going to a formal event. Simply because they do not fit under a majority of my shirt cuffs.

For a slimmer and dressier look - i would agree with what has been stated above and go for either 380 or 388. or possibly a 512 for the smaller size.

But more importantly. If you are wearing a Black tux and black shoes (maybe this is a personal opinion) but i think the 390 will not be a good fit. With the brown dial and gold hands this watch is ideal for a blue/brown combo. In your situation, i would make sure that I have my watch on a really nice black gator strap (Recommend Orloff) on any of the three watches i listed above. It will look fantastic.

You know, Ive been on a little PAM binge lately adding to my collection and they have all been Luminors up until now. I really want to add a Radiomir to the list, but I just can't seem to find one I connect with. While I do agree that it would be the "smartest/classiest" option, finding one I want to put into regular rotation is tough. I don't want to get one just for the one day.

Yeah, outdoor summer wedding, will be way too hot for a black tux. Ill be sweating my bollox off, Ill need a rubber strap!! haha

Well it depends on what you will wear. The 390 is fine as you wont go in a tuxedo.
I married in a black tux by hugo boss and my watch choice was a PAM Radiomir 288:

I am in exactly the same boat and had this discussions with the fiancé this evening....what watch to wear! I'm leaning towards a radiomir just because it seems to be a more "fitting" and would work well under a cuff
