RWI users, do you happen to have one or both of the current Explorers?

The current crowd favourite, the Clean Factory Explorer, with its clone movement, has had an advantage over the BP Factory’s ETA clone for some time…

But now with VSF weighing in, things could get heated. Can VSF change the game entirely?

In the style of a WWF attitude era ring announcer, here’s the pitch…

Ladies and gentleman, the following is a Triple Threat Match to crown the inaugural RWI Rolex Explorer Championships.

I mean I think overall Clean will be the winner for everything. But for a simple 3 hander watch they're basically all the same and depends on what you want and practically indistinguishable. Like I'm talking minute details like crystal, rehaut, crown, minor finishing, bracelet feel, dial printing, etc.

If we're talking 39, BP/Clean depends on what movement you want, if you want the best of the best, it's Clean, no question. At $300 from Hont the BP 39 Explorer is a good value option and probably better as a "beater" due to the movement.

At 36, no contest, it's Clean. BP hasn't fixed the lug width. But also I know that KRF has made a new 36mm with a 2824/SW200 with a 19mm lug width so that can be a "BP" replacement.

VS... well we haven't seen anything but the only "advantage" they have is the VS3230 for sure. But if it's anything to go on compared to their Datejusts and OPs... well I'm not hopeful about the case shape lol
