Thanks to RWI I was able to source these beauties. This is not for discussing specs/flaws/versions etc... - we all know AP reps are world class (and I'm extremely grateful for that!)I just wanted to show you guys some fun pics I took of these beautiful Gerald Genta designs.

So similar yet so different.

As much as I love Patek, it's pretty obvious in the 4th pictures that the Royal Oak is in a league of his own. The finish, the dial, the bracelet comfort are simply better. Speaking of reps.

I agree regarding quality of the rep. The pateks look cheaply made to me, even going to the gen AD im just not a fan. They are an old man watch, aesthetically speaking.

Have you ever worn a Nautilus? I love AP (I've had over 40 and currently own 11) the Nautlius / Aquanauts are hands down the one of the most comfortable and classy watches I've ever own. I can't pick which one is better. But I rather think they compliment each other. A lot of people have even referred to it as "graduating" to a Patek. I somewhat agree with that notion. I wear my AP on nights out and expensive dinners.

For meetings I prefer to sport my Pateks. It's a more chill watch and when you're wearing a stainless Patek and you're engaged in a meeting with a**holes it almost subtly say "**** you, I don't even need this deal, but I'd deal with you just because I want to, not because I need your money." And I just look at my watch for the time, and walk away.

As stated above this is not for discussing the quality of the rep - we all know the APs have been repped very well Patek lovers of RWI would obviously want JF to come in and rep a Nautlius. This is just to show a comparison between the two loved designs.

The two watches are spot on, they look amazong in the pictures, can't imagine how beautiful they are directly, i believe patek has a bit classier vibe than the ro that seems a little more stuntastic. However two great genta designs that seem to be timeless, to each his own. Great collection you got there buddy !

JF did rep of Nautilis and they did totally shitty job. Dial was completely wrong, it was almost purple.

I love BP v1 SS Nautilus (I think I may get it) it's a great watch
but both reps of RG 15400 and RG Nautilus scream fake from the distance.
I think JF 15400 RG looks more fake more than RG Nautilus. JF never perfected RG on this reps.

Nautilus is such a good looking watch but if anything go for SS instead of RG as RG is not accurate. Go for BP v1.
How big is your wrist?

Moon phrase & chronos are 14mm?

Even the pilot can spot this from his cockpit.

Take Godfather's advise : v1 is still the Ultimate PP to have!
