The RG 'Itch"

So...I've been doing some thinking, and I feel like it's time to scratch that itch, time to be daring and get my first all-gold AP. Either going for the RG Royal Oak Tourby with blue dial, or the new Gold Themes on a bracelet. Let the opinions fly! :nana:

The RO tourby is nice mate but unless you're 40 and drives a Bentley GT and has a lifestyle envied by most, it may not be believable.

So by default, I would vote for the gold theme bro.

Without mentioning the fact that the RO Tourby in reality would cost a little over $120,000. I don't know if you would like to have such an image while wearing it.. I think the Tourby would be hell to fix if things go wrong.

having said that, the gold theme is nice, but my only issue is that color of the gold dial doesn't match the color of the gold on the watch, unlike the gen. with the gen, the color of the whole watch has the same level rose gold including the dial. what I have seen and discouraged me from placing an order for the gold theme is that difference in rose gold color between the dial and the rest of the watch..

the tourby is very difficult to pull off due to the price of the gen, maybe a black or white dial 15400 could also be an option

Gold Themes, the rep dial is actually better looking than the Guldens Mustard Gen dial, but choose what makes you most happy and that you feel will get more wear time instead of box time.
