The Question.. 127 or 372

Hello Everyone:

If you had to choose between a PAM127 "Fiddy" or PAM372 which one would you choose and explain why they would do?

127 hands down the better quality replica - if you can get your hands on a marlin one now that these are back in stock from the dealers.

The P.3000 movement replication is far from gen. This is why the 127 is a significantly better choice. But at the end of the day its completely up to personal preference.

If we are talking gen, I would take the 372, because of the movement.
If we are talking rep, I would take the 127 because of the movement.
Whatever you do, wear the watch. Too many people buy these models and just store them away without wearing them.

In my opinion the 372 is beautiful and very "vintage" with approaches to historical Panerai, but it takes a "modern" movement and I think that detracts spectacular ...

I think the 127 is a good combination of "vintage" inside and outside ...

I'd like a 372 face in a 127 case. Nicer face and the contrast between the polish bezel and brushed case does it.

I think the 127 is a good combination of "vintage" inside and outside ...

As some have pointed out already....if we're talking gen here I'd have to go with the 372 as the in-house movement will be the way to go for those interested in collecting.

If we're talking about REP then go with the 127 but watch out for the plexi ridge issue pointed out in other earlier posts. The 372 rep is nice on its face but if you look at the case back then you'll see that it's a dead giveaway (for being a fake).

Both watches - gen/rep - are very nice. The 127 has a ton of character but I like the simple elegance of the 372 (without the seconds marker).

If you choose one over the other for gen then get the one you didn't choose as a REP. You'll be happy either way.

I agree with BMW...just buy both! That's what I did.

The 372 is one of my new favourites, have tried it on a couple times as my friend owns a gen, but I simply cannot justify that ridiculously replicated movement, they will have much better versions soon.

Buy the 127 now that they are back in stock, they will not be improved but the 372 will be for sure. I'll be happy to see a KW p3000 clone and 372 opcorn:
