It's been a while since I've posted these photos. It would be great to see who still has one of these amazing builds.
If you still have one and can post a photo of it, please do so below.
These all had swiss movements in them.

No, I have the prototype of the second one (the Railmaster based) but I don't have that one, wish I did.

As much as it will feel good to do this together as a community, it was a nightmare to coordinate in almost all facets.

I had the idea a while ago, cause I was involved in couple creations on gen fora.
Gents explained what happened last time and quickly shut the idea down.
Shame, but I respect that.

You HAVE to be joking!
I recall some of the headaches the RWG watch encountered. It's a nice homage to the forum, but as @daytona4me said, not practical to repeat. I should have made a more clear statement that the concept is a wonderful thought, but impractical in practice.

Oh trust me, forum watches have done worse than that. Every single one has been a disaster with either people losing money or being scammed. That Railmaster was almost the death of RWI before D4M came on the scene and rescued it.

it would be sure easy to do nowadays if you built one with a seiko NH movement and case, custom dials are pretty easy to get hold of.

Wow haven’t even seen a dial layout like that with the small seconds pushed over the 9oclock. Pretty cool! How long ago was that original “dark side” watch created? Before 06?

No, it began in 2006, pushed out late 2006, early 2007.
