Hey Guys!

So I’ve been eyeing Daytonas for a long time now, but since Noob recently came out with their excellent Clone 4130 movement, I’ve so badly wanted to pull the trigger on this 50th Anniversary Platona.

https://www.intime03.co/rollie/4636...tion-ice-blue-dial-on-ss-bracelet-sa4130.html

I know it’s impossible to pull off and there will be weight issues. But the Blue Dial and the beautiful Brown Ceramic Bezel is just to die for imo!

I was wondering if anyone has the Noob Daytona 116506 with their Clone movement?
It would be amazing to see some Pictures and/or a Review on this particular piece.

Thank You RepFam!

Noob just out out a V2 for the 116500 in black and white, I would hold fire as the dial print and clasp has been improved.

I did some reading on this actually. It turns out it isn’t essentially a V2 but they decided to just make the dial better in their latest batch. So Noob isn’t really marketing it as a V2.

I don’t want to pull the trigger till I can get atleast some confirmation of the watch feels and looks and reliablity too. It’s pretty high up there Rep after all.

Sub dials are brown with the brown ceramic

Both the QC and the InTime pics fail to show anything but a very, very, very dark brown (or perhaps black), whereas in the gen, the majority of the photos show a brown in the subdials which closely matches the bezel:

I would definitely want to see SOME photos that showed they had at least come close to the gen colouration. So far, I'm definitely not seeing it.

These pictures are taken under special conditions, so you can’t really expect this is real life.
Watch some videos on YouTube to get a picture of how this looks in real life.

The subdials of the Noob 116506 are very dark brown (too brown). The subdials of many higher-quality aftermarket dials are black. Here is a Noob 116506 with one of these aftermarket dials. Notice there is no alignment problem with the "120" of the tachymeter after replacing the Noob dial with a better aligned dial.

Is this with the SA4130 Movement?

This is the latest Noob with the Super-Clone 4130 with functioning chrono. It has been modified however by me.

My observation confirms that and as far as I remember guru had mentioned this once or twice already. It seems to me that OTB Noob dials are somehow "pulling to the left" on the bottom part of the dial to allow better alignment of rehaut/hour markers of the dials. To keep up with the spacing of the 6hr marker it is moved to the left of 120 bezel mark, Once the GEN is installed the "pulling" effect disappears.

Isn't it the sun burst inside the sub dials supposed to be centrical for each subdial for a gen? I think the rep just has its from the main center of the watch.

Yes, you are right, hopefully this will be solved during the next dial update

I wonder if these black subdial Ice blues wouldn't look better with a black ceramic bezel
