EDIT: Found out from the bright site. It's 60 bucks, discount given if purchased together with the hand and dial... Hope davidsen has not shipped my 2 sets of capped hands and dials. So I can order this together... Good base to start another reppanerai/Frankenwatch project.

The problem with the parts like the canon and post is they are probably sold as an assembly kit to fit to the Chinese ebauche, so it's cheaper to make up a whole movement than it is to stock and inventory parts because ETA keeps such a tight handle on individual distribution.

You have to remember that most rep manufacturers don't care about recessed canon's ... get outside over our jaded world and no-one else cares either. We are not a big enough market to invest in. But if you want to rep them, go for it!

OK, I'm going to admit it: what's an: "ebauche" mate? Sounds like an online party - as in eDebauched!

I do keep addressing this issue of the recessed pin: good for Zig (and I'm glad to send that fine bloke the work). I haven't cracked the back of one of my reps yet ... is there a post by someone on the do's/dont's/how's here yet?
