Beautiful products from the Italians with impressive new technical features. Good to see one is paying for more than glitzy adverting with the new Panerai's.

Pretty sure he's done this one already for someone awhile back and it was shown here, search on PVD and fiddy, I bet you will find it.

The new movements are impressive, but for a purist they suck. They are so damn busy with features, the models don't look like Panerais, but Richemont's other brands, slapped up with PANERAI looks.

Features are fine on a submersible model, but luminors and radiomirs with gee-gaws look, blah. Take one of those new movements and design a BASE dial with and go back to what made PANERAI different, simple, understated design.

The Depth gauge Sub is quite cool. Well matched blend of modern progression and design ...

I am sure the new tech is introduced first - hopefully more to come.

I couldn't agree more. The 8 day power reserve of the P.2002 harkens back to the days of Angelus powered PAMs, but then that had to ruin it by adding all those complications. I don't want all that crap on my dial! They are getting away from the signature look of Panerai, which *WAS* clean no-nonsense dials. Tool watches, fer chrissake!

Thumbs down from me.

there is a bunch of legal mumbojumbo to use the phrase, Switzerland, swiss movement, and made in Switzerland on a watch having to do with where the parts are made verses where it is assembled. they are putting the only thing relating to Switzerland they can legally trying to make somebody believe it had something to do with Switzerland so they can charge more money for it. lol, nice try. thats just damn funny.
