This new Graham Chronofighter Prodive is sweet. I wonder when we will see a rep for this. I would be among the first one to order one :D

i personaly find it beautifull !i love the yellow one they got on the graham website ( goes with the colors of my fins :)

the trigger looks a lot better when it is integrated like this in the case, i always thought that the chronofigther kind of look like a old style lighter .( really dont like it )

even it is far from being a dive computer the prodive is a real dive watch

they claim the chrono can be operated up to 600m deeps which is a lot better than other mechanical dive watches not that someone will go that deep

special indentation on the bezel for easy use under water with gloves ( probaably most welcome without gloves as well as fingers tends to go numb)

chrono start / stop AND reset with the one click lever ( once again gloves or numb hands)

rubber cover for the crown ( not that you want to open the crown under water )
crown locks with a bayonette system so no chance to accidentaly unscrew it with your gloves ,

the movement features will be difficult to rep

hi Yannou le me know if i am correct ( i might be making an idiot of myself as i cant base this assumption on watch movement knowledge as i dont have but just on an intuition

the watch movement according to some reviews says that it is based on a "customised valjoux 7750 " what seems to be the customised bit ?it might only be a 7753 ( date at 4)

to me it seems to me that if you hold a chrono watch with second at 9/ 30 min at 12 minutes at 12 in your hand and rotate it so that the crown is at 10 as on the prodive :
1/the seconds dial now is at 4 like in the prodive
2/the 30 min chrono is at 7 as onthe prodive
3/the chrono start/stop push button is now at 3 as onthe prodive
4/ the date window is now at 11 ( if the date window is originally at 4 as on a 7753 )

just take a chrono in your and and turn so you will see it all adds up

all that is needed then is
1/re position the dial and hands properly . not a problem for makers
2/a new case to be manufactured so the strap can be positioned properly
this might be a problem as the amount of people willing to by a rep might be too low to generate makers interest i guess .
3/ retro engineer ( if not already done ) the 1 click lever system from graham ( retro engineer sounds like a big word but i guess it is a lot easier than it sounds especially for the guys that make copies of movement like 7750 )
4/ customise the movement so the reset movement is removed and now part of the lever system )

anyway even if this prodive gets repped one day it will have to be a proper waterproof rep as i certainly wont buy it otherwise and would lmao seeing anyone taking it of his wrist before a dive because water might damage it !!!

edit : just made a quick flash video to illustrate the "rotate the watch " process . comparing the prodive with a gtxl ( sorry couldnot find a watch with date at 4 and chrono minutes at 12 so the date desonot align where it should .

still pretty good at showing that it is basically possible . any pro advice welcome

The movement is just a 7750 with bicompax module, like all the other Grahams. Yes, it is rotated to a different position.

The problem is that it is also a "monopusher" chronograph, meaning start stop AND reset are all operated with the trigger. Not sure it's something the Chinese makers would want to undertake for a watch that will likely have limited appeal to potential rep buyers.

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE this watch, and I'd love to get ahold of a rep. I'm just not getting my hopes up that we'll see an ultimate rep of it.

there might be another problem ... the graham seems to have another function on "monopusher" ,, 1 click start / 2 click stop / 3 click COUNTDOWN / 4 click reset ,

ouch

I wasn't aware of any countdown function, but it really wouldn't be necessary to rep that. The primary issue is the monopusher function. Without it, there would be no way to reset the chrono without adding another button to the case.

I suppose they could rep it with a non-functional chronograph, using a movement like the A23 jewel movement in the Big Pilot. But sadly, that would make the trigger non-functional.
