No.....not stupid. I find myself......frequently.....paying more attention to watches in movies, TV, etc. than I do the actual story.

I am trying to get better at this. My wife and I went to see "Little Fockers" tonight and Greg Focker's (Ben Stiller) watch was in clear view the entire time but I could not quite make it out. I think it was an IWC, but again I am not sure even though it was in plain sight....Immafukinnoob

Tom Cruise in Vanilla Sky wears a very obvious and prominent IWC. They display it quite close up numerous times during the first few minutes.

Jeremy Clarkson wears a Planet Ocean on rubber...

YES! I thought it was an IWC as well. I couldn't see the face at all but the buckle looked like an IWC one

Good stuff! I was playing Call of Duty Black Ops and the guys in the game are wearing Panerai's which are facing backwards so when you are shooting you can see the time. The amazing thing is that the watches are actually keeping time while you're playing.

Haha that's pretty cool. A bit like how if you go on the Rolex site the big watches get your computer's time and then keep time and move exactly like a real Rolex, 8bps.
