The lever in my PAM 217 is loose

Hi everybody,
is there a way to have the lever in the crown protector of a PAM 217 to be less loose?
It's not completely loose, but I would like it to have a little bit more friction with the crown
Thanks

Well there are limited options, as you most likely won't be able and/or willing to mod the stem to extend further from the case.
On the other hand, you can't enlarge teh "nose" of the lever pressing on the crown.

The only way i see is to CAREFULLY Dremel 1mm (if that much at all) from the CG to make it a closer fit. So from the GC "base" that is, the part that attaches to case. But be sure to get the shape rright, otherwise it looks dodgy

Seen that done a couple of times on mods around the forums, but haven't done it myself.

Dependent on the current state of the lever (and the reasons why it is floppy) it is sometimes possible to re-shape it slightly by bending, but you have to be very careful indeed as it's easy to break the lever (having removed the CG from the watch first, of course). I managed to get it right with my budget Fiddy, but would be very wary of trying it with a more expensive watch.

As Cloudhopper says, the other option is to shave the height of the CG slightly, but you have to be careful to get the profile correct otherwise it won't fit correctly.

... Or maybe the CG screws are loose that's why the lever is loose. Try tightening the CG screws.

No, the screws aren't loose.
That's the first thing I checked, being the PAM 217 the 6th Panerai I have in my collection.
I wish it were that easy...
Working on the stem is not that easy as well. I'm not a watchsmith, so I prefer not to meddle with it.
I think I will give a try to the suggestion made by Cloudhopper.
Thanks everybody
