Hah, posting without fully waking up out of excitement, and I forgot the vital info!
This is a Marlin full monty that's been in the queue for just shy of 6 months! I got this and a 113 at the same time. Toro was able to source me one early in the year after some digging around and got it sent straight to Marlin to get my spot in the queue.
Having never seen the 50 in the flesh before, I couldn't be happier!

Yeah, it's a fantastic job. The big tell that's left is really just the swan neck.

It is impossible to get better results from a Noob Swan Neck spring. Believe me
But talking about the Incablock, in this case the modification made by marlin is just awesome very gen shaped (within the possibilities)

Agreed, but not sure I like the light tan though. Most of my shoes trend towards a chestnut color, and while I'm not a matchy matchy person necessarily, something too light feels off putting to me unless it's a completely different color, like yellow.
I've put in an order for a nice dressy croc strap and will see how that goes. The other straps i'm considering is the antiqued strap that comes with the 514. I have the 24m version which I wear on the 114 quite a bit, and love. It goes well with any shoe color in my collection.
I will post pics as I try different straps

The morning light makes the strap look darker in color than reality.

The previous pics of the gunny blond looked more warm than it really is due to the morning light, the below pic is a bit more true to color for those curious.
I've also got in a belly croc from Simona (DiStefano), which is my first from this strap maker, which I'm absolutely in love with!
It's the clear winner for awhile! :thumbsup:
