Hi guys,
so, after some years of reading (here and in other watch forums) and buying (mostly from Trusty Time and Perfect Clones), I thought it's time for my first post here, sort of give something back to the community
(I posted the review of my purchase from Trusty Time also on the RWG forum, but since the community here is also big, I thought I post it here too ... so if you read it there already, you can skip this.)
My last purchase was a quite "big" (meaning expensive) one ... luckily all went well so far, so I'd like to give a "satisfied buyer" review (as Andrew from Trusty Time also suggested).
Since Noob Factory has gone out of business, I was heartbroken, that I waited too long to order my long time favorite Noob Daytona, the beautiful 116519LN SS/RU grey / black (https://trustytimewatch.io/index.php...ducts_id=21740). It was not available anymore, when I finally was ready to go fot it ;(
So now I'm hoping for Clean Factory to maybe make a great rep of that model, pleeeeease! ... (they seem to be the next generation of great Daytona reps?! ... as far as I can see.)
Then some months ago Andrew had for a few days some good ol' Noob Daytonas as limited stock ... but for a heavy higher price, now around $1.200, ouch!
Anyway, my beloved 116519LN was not on this limited list, but I saw one other highly desired model, 116515LN RG/RU Blk:
https://trustytimewatch.io/index.php...ducts_id=21474
So I thought, ah what the hack, I want it! ;P
For a friend I also ordered those two (also price heavy) items:
The beautiful 116505LN RG/RG Black
https://trustytimewatch.io/index.php...ducts_id=22415
... and of course the most wanted: Daytona 116528 YG/YG Green (for me a bit "too much bling", but I can see / understand why the genuine ones now sell over $100.000 ... it's a stunning design)
https://trustytimewatch.io/index.php...ducts_id=20579
It took quite some time (from getting all QC pics, to tracking numbers for separate packages, trans shipping etc. etc.), BUT luckily all three watches arrived save here in Germany, HOORAYYY!!!
I was a little worried when they stayed in customs for over three weeks ... but Andrew suggested to wait up to 28 days ... so patience, hope and more patience ... and it worked out fine, huh!
So here some impressions of my 116515LN RG/RU Blk
(The Noob Daytona with the blue dial is just for comparison, I bought it already some years ago ... it's my daily driver, never over or underdressed with that one ... if only the silver bezel would be more accurate, but maybe Clean Factory gets that right in the future. Till now they didn't make a silver daytona bezel (afaik)?! only black ones, which looked already good when Noob Factory made them.)
I'm satisfied with the watch, looks great and works fine ... (one minor issue: a little "scratch" right next to the serial number in the rehaut ;{ ... I guess ROLEX would not let that through quality control, hah ... but besides that, all ok.)
Now I'm looking forward to the boxsets, that I also ordered along with the watches (yes, I know, the ones at Trusty Time are not the best ones (damn, at least they could print the correct ROLEX logo on the paper box!), but for the price "ok" I guess) ... hope they arrive soon, to make everything complete
