We usually have problems with the dials, so this time I post the pics of the dial sample, please QC it ASAP because it will start production after the CNY. Thanks.

The case will be perfect, no worries. Both Asian 7750 and Swiss 7750 versions will be available.

the marker on 9 is higher than the one on 3. the vertical hight should be identical, while the one on 3 is horizontally longer.

Based on the the IWC web catalog the Cousteau Divers model has an "ocean blue" dial. Maybe its just the lighting, but this one looks black.

Agree with Seadweller4000's comments regarding the 3/9 markers, the three marker should be wider so it comes closer to the date window and height should be the same as the nine.

Compare to image of Gen below:

Like I said next door, the flat subdials are the clincher.

Please forgive the size ...

the subdials need to have the sprial pattern the 3 o'clock marker needs to be match the height of the 9.

once the watch is assembled will the white numerals on the the inner bezel ring be raised like the gen?

Maybe I'm jaded from the HBB, but the subdials don't look like they are aligned properly, e.g. 20 and 10 on the 12 o'clock dial... :?

I am not kidding. I will jump on this when it's released. Please take note of the Orange colour. It's RC Tritec Superluminova Dark Orange. I will take picture when I get home. Orange is a tricky colour. Just look at IWC Ingenieur Chrono AMG Ti. The dark red second chrono hand is a dead giveaway.

I agree... The 10 and 20 don't line up (at 12 o clock subdial). Please don't make the same flaw as HBB :)

Is it just the angle of the picture?
The hour markers are also not evenly filled, i think, but that is to be expected?!

I could be wrong, but I think there is actually a relief in the subdials which does not come out so good in angus pics - but I am sure it should be deeper.

yes, actually you are right, it does look a little bit deeper, but that's just a small issue, not as obvious as misaligned hour markers or sub-dials...

With so many comments, its gonna take a while before it can be in production... well, better late than never!

The depth of the subdials is nowhere near as important as the grooves. Finding a spare genuine dial for this one will prove near-impossible, so I hope this will be corrected.

The subdial has CONCENTRIC CIRCLES, sorry for the bad camera, the dial is deep blue, sorry for the poor white balance...
12 subdial markers not aligned, 12' markers crooked, 9' markers wrong in height, "cousteau divers" not bold enough and 6' marker should be in square, ALL THESE will be reported to the watch maker, thank you for your help!!

Wow, now I look closely, I can see them. Very faint, though. Serves me right for looking at it on my laptop. :D

I know this may not be agreed with but I have just been thinking...

Since this watch is obviously a "diving" watch, and has a rubber strap, I wish there was a way to get the factories to "water-proof" them. I know they can be sent to someone else (ziggy, joe, vaccum), but it would just save us the hassle and cost less. I have just really been looking for a rep that I can wear in the water...

Any thoughts?
