Dear watch enthusiasts,

Today while working on an ARF 116710LN that was sent to me to work on the lugs, it immediately was clear that this watch has seen some abuse.
Screw heads, lugs where bracelet pins go, bezel, crystal retaining ring, caseback,... everything is scratched, dented or deformed.
Seller stated he just changed the crystal and a cracked insert. When you don't have the proper tools, this is the result.

On to the pics:

I don't know how someone can do that to those screws... Like are you blind and can't see it?

I've even tightened since screws with a knife before and they never got like this

Well, I agree. However, the screws used in reps are never hardened, especially the ones on the bracelet. It doesn’t take much effort for them to end up stripped like this.

This is exactly how I feel when I see photos like this. Do people start to unscrew them, slip and realise, "oh that's made a massive gash" or "whoops I've rounded the screw"

BETTER DO IT AGAIN

ffs.
