Purchased this lovely patinaed bronzo 382 from @panerai153 in the M2M parts section, figuring it would be a good project to delve into as I am trying to expand my watchmaking skillsets.

The recommendation from his watchmaker was to replace the hairspring and, of course, the balance assembly as well. I finally sourced one from a watchmakers school that was closing, and, once installed, the movement still does not function fully (see video below). Now, I know enough to be dangerous but not enough to go deeper without a consult, and if I'm in over my tinker's knowledge level, I might need to seek a professional.

Do you think this warrants a full teardown and service? When reinstalling the balance wheel, I did make sure to capture the impulse jewel in the fork horn, it doesn't seem like there's any over banking and the palate fork does appear to be moving properly. Both pivot points are captured properly on the top and the bottom of the assembly, and the fork safety pin appears to be intact.

I need to order some more onedip, but I was going to try to clean the balance jewel as well, but from there... I'm out of ideas! Any thoughts from those much smarter than I?

Sorry for the low-quality video... it's all it would let me upload!
