The best Sinn U2 watch.

Hey,

I'm looking for the best Sinn u2 replica.

I saw that the dealers are selling it with the same prices +/-.

Anyone have any expierence?

What is the best movement for this watch?

Please be very cautious and ask for actual photos of the U2 before paying. There is a batch problem with the dial now, the white dot under the 6 o'clock marker used to be a white button pasted on top of the dial. Now it is replaced by a very big white painted dot. I have tried and this is unmoddable to look like gen. The first version with the button is highly moddable, the white button can be placed below to look like the pic you posted. Otherwise rest of watch is pretty close to rep.. maybe except the lume. I understand it should be next week that the previous dial comes back into stock.

What's better - a cheaper movement that keeps good time or a more expensive movement that does nothing more?

A few other pics I've seen all show it to be very green indeed. I'm still getting one!

Oh and I have the 2836-2 U2 - white painted capsule, GRRR, but still nice. They need a service straight away though. Ask for actual pics of the watch you are getting.

I believe if you google, or go to original Sinn site, you will be able to find your answers. In daylight, both Sinns have white markers. In dark, lume is green. The Sinn U1 currently comes with green markers in daylight which of course is wrong as mentioned, its not only green, its even flaky and not very even. Just get it relumed and your problem is solved. Just attaching a photo of how the dial looks like after relume. Can't find the rep dial photo, but i've seen some threads here talking about it. Just do a search and see the diff.

Its technically not a new dial, its the original dial. It will fix the white button back on top like before but lume remains rep lume. Green lume is only Sinn U1.

Ease up my friend. Have a look at the gen bracelet, it doesn't cost much compared to a Rollie bracelet

Then i suggest you camp in ebay and snipe a gen bracelet or drop an email to your regular dealer and ask. As for as i know... they so far do not make the bracelet. The rubber is very popular
