the best Rolex Sub 16610

so doing some research i found a thread that said TC is considered a super rep, but dont know what that is. Is TC diffrent from ARF or noob? If so where do i find it, if not which is considered more similar to gen? Thanks

TC used to be a guy who specialized in the 5 digit sub. TC subs were highly esteemed. If I remember correctly though, he passed away within the last few years, so they are only obtainable from other members’ sales.

I don’t know who makes the best 5 digit sub now, whether it is ARF or noob or some other factory. I just wanted to inform you about TC.

JF make the best 5 digit, but BP make good ones as well. Forget getting a TC.

The best 16610 sub will be "franken". It does pop up in the M2M sales section once in a blue moon, same as the TC sub. Well priced ones are taken quicker than you can say Rumpelstiltskin.

I still have one JF16610LN with the SH3135 movement from 2017, and while it is no TC sub, it is quite nice except for the bold date font. Unlike its brethren (I bought 3), this oddball would not go gently into that good night. For a few months, I also wore the BP made LV version, but it is not as well made/accurate as the JF.

Thanks everyone for the input! So youre telling me that JF makes a higer quality sub then the noob v9? If so which TD can i get it from (or is it discontinued?) I dont think puretime has the JF

the "NOOB v9" is a 116610, not a 16610, different watch altogether pal.

yeah pretty much for stock- TC if you can get hold of one, then JF, then BP for the cheaper option.

Frankens....... something you'll need to do a ton of research before you venture down that rabbit hole :lol:

ok thanks, i think thats where i was getting confused with JF! Thanks for clearing that up. Im trying to find the best 116610 sub currently.
