Wow. I am well and truly deep into this rabbit hole.

Li and Lana were fantastic the whole way despite my clumsiness in this being my first rep order.

I initially stuffed up the 1st international transfer but Li's patience in allowing me to sort it out was excellent.

Event though it is said a lot on this forum, I recommend to all the newbies to read about the ordering process prior to posting or buying.

I actually got the QC pictures prior to my correct payment on the 6th December.

Watch was shipped on the 14th, with photos, and arrived today, the 31st. Happy new year.

I don't have a great eye for detail but the watch has far exceeded my expectations thus far.

Thanks again to Li and Lana.

I shall be contacting you again soon for another one!

FG.

PS. This is the watch on my skinny 6 to 6 and 1/4 inch wrist.

Beautiful watch and very nice photos. I am a big fan of JTime as well.

I have always avoided this watch as it just looked too small. On your arm it looks great.

Congrats!

Thanks.

Wearing it for the last 24 hours it has become obvious that this is the right size for me, particularly for an everyday watch.

Seems to be keeping time very well too so far.

Li has been great and I have already started sorting out the next one.

Happy new year.

Happy new year to you too.

A sub and explorer is a great combo.

So far, my watch has been keeping time great. Only obvious difference to gen for me is the larger hands but no one I know would have any idea about that.

I have actually been trying to buy a gen from an AD for the last six months, for a milestone birthday, but gave up and ended up here.

So far no regrets.

Looks great! I've been thinking about going for one of these myself. A very classy choice! Reassuring to hear it went smoothly with JTime.

Very good quality and details. Great choice! What about the movement? Do you feel it smooth?

The movement has been great so far. The crown action is a bit gritty but it has excellent power reserve and at most, has been only +10 sec per day.

I almost feel like getting another one as a back up!

Yeah I'm not sure why they used Maxi hands... I guess the case is also an OP case so it's 20mm between the lugs and the bracelet tapers from 20 to 15 with a 17mm clasp... instead of 19 to 14 with a 16mm clasp. The shape of the 6 and 9 are off slightly. But no one would ever notice any of this unless they had them side by side or were measuring your watch with calipers lol.

Yeah. True.

I forgot about the case, bracelet and clasp.

I'm obviously not too bothered about those things and in fact, the differences make the watch wear a bit bigger in comparison to the gen which may better suit some wrists.

I had the opportunity to recently compare with a gen 39mm 214270 and a so called "watch guy" really had difficulty telling the difference between rep and gen. It became apparent to me that it's only really RWI forum users that know these things.

I actually went to an AD and put my name down for a gen 124270. Not sure what I'd do if I got the call today!

Enjoy the watch mate, it's a beauty.
