Thank God i didn't drop 4k on a Tudor BB at the AD. I just received my Tudor BB Midnight Blue today and it is amazing. This is my first time writing a review and i am not very technically gifted in horology so please go easy on me!
First up, here are the specifications of the watch.
Size: 41mm x 11mm
Movement: Asian Clone 2824-2 25J @ 28,800vph
316 Steel
Dome shaped Colorless AR on Sapphire
Stainless Steel Bracelet
Uni-directional Bezel
I would like to comment on the movement. I feel that the BB is an excellent rep to purchase because the gen is essentially using the exact same movement (albeit a gen ETA2824 rather than an Asian Clone). The strengths of the clone has been written about extensively, so i shall not discuss that any further.
I decided to purchase a midnight blue over the red after trying both on at an AD. To be honest, i would have liked to have both but after weighing it out, i think the midnight blue is a stunning contender for a daily beater watch to bring to work. The red on the other hand, would be a watch that i would wear to bars or a more casual encounter. This is entirely up to you of course, it's my own opinion.

I have to say that the Tudor BB is an excellently built rep watch. It feels solid in the hands and feels great on the wrist. Having tried the gen, i have to say the rep comes really close in terms of looks and feel.
On to specifics:
Bezel - Bezel clicks well and is crisp. It is tightly fixed onto the assembly. I've been playing with it since getting it
Crystal - colourless domed crystal is awesome
Chapter Ring - Could have been done better, i felt like the finish on the chapter ring wasn't very refined but you really have to scrutinized it real close to notice this
Bracelet - Well made, feels solid and very much like the gen even though it is a 316L SS. End links are solid. Only issue here is with the clasp. The gap (already pronounced issue that has been raised) is a little large. Another issue is that the edges are a little sharp. Engraving looks great on the watch.
Closing Thoughts:I think the Tudor BB is an outstanding rep and really worth the money.
1) It is going at slightly under 300USD at some dealers before shipping.
2) It is using a clone of the movement you would get in a gen
3) It is a really good looking watch, love the white markers and hands on a black dial. Midnight blue makes the entire thing look posh.
I give a 8/10 for this watch. I hope you enjoyed reading this review.
