The idea behind this build is indeed what could have been a prototype watch made for the elite incursori frogmen, a luxury edition whatnot.
I took a radiomir case (45mm), soldered the lugs and also the tube for the 8mm brevet crown, 24c gold plated the crown and bezel, aged and polished the midcase, the movement is also completely 24c gold plated. Ofcourse I serviced and regulated it afterwards.
The dial is is custom Depth Gauge variation, painted ivory, aged and lumed by me.
The depth gauge hour hand is shortened, and I used a vintage sword hand as minute hand, they were both treated to a nebula patina.
The strap, is cut from natural veg tanned leather, dyed with the best Fiebings leather dies. It has a fantastic feel and appearance. Rivals Corrigia or Gunny strap quality easily,
This all is nothing without pics ofcourse.
