Hi there I am fairly new to the group and the whole world of reps , the last week I've been taking on board all the info that's supplied in the group and in the next couple of weeks I will be placing an order for my first rep , however I came across a post the other day of search pic that had a template over the top to see how all the numbers and dials match up , I am just wondering how I would be able to get something like that , seems like a very useful tool , thanks for reading

Oh my...

The template to which you refer is part of the comprehensive ARSEnal of tools available to the Reptime crowd over on Reddit. They'd love to help you out.*

Here, you might find yourself in for being the butt of a little bit of, um, knockabout humour for asking about the Alignment Tool Of Doom...

*Honestly, save yourself the bother of asking your TD to fit the watch in the Pefectly Perpendicular QC Perusing Jig before taking the pics of your watch by... not bothering with the Alignment Tool of Doom

I had to circle back to this as I will admit I used that silly tool for my first rep purchase. My advice is to read up on QC here first, if you still feel a burning desire to use the tool, fully understand that it is not useful if the photo is taken at any angle other than 100% perpendicular to the watch face. As a result, it creates more issues than it solves As the photo will never be taken at a perfect angle,

Ahh right , I think it's more of a case maybe I'm trying to be too careful and just want the best rep I can get lol don't want to overlook anything , although at the same time if something isn't necessarily needed then I won't waste my time, I must admit though a lot of pictures I see of watches the dials and numbers do seem a bit off bit off I can never tell 100% if it's just the way the pictures been took though
