Guys what do you do when the gen dial's date window does not line up with the movement? It appears the movement is a tad but to the right. It's a 21j i believe...

Any ideas?

One of TC's datewheel overlays. All the Rolex guys swear by them, so I'd it works on a watch as nice as Rolex, surely will work on some random Pam.

The datewheel overlay is in different position, more gen like, than the standard datewheel. That's how it works, the datewheel overlay has dates in the gen position from what I understand.

You're wasting your time with the 21J. Just get a 7750 version with faux power reserve. That will be a much better starting point.

Thanks bro. Question thos with a 7750, will the datewindow of the movement line up with the datewindow of the dial? Also what do you guys do with the dial feet, do you remove them? On the 21j the dial feet has no place to go.

Yes it will. The gen is in the 7750 family of movements with a Power Reserve module on top.
