TD can't get a really 005 v4 noob... Do I accept the v3 instead ?

Hi guys,

I am trying to get a 005 v4 from a TD, paid about $240 not include shipping yet.. But after TD sent me the QC and it's not a really v4 .. It's a v3 with Updated v4 movement Y-..

The TD told me it is the v4, so do you think I should just take it??? How's the noob v3 005 overall quality compared to Hfac??

I think the differences from v3 to v4 are minor as it is already a very accurate rep. It is my understamding that the noob rep is better overall than Hfactory, better movement decoration and better dial construction. Hope ale7575, out resident PAM expert, can shed some more light on this and verify if my understanding is correct, I'd hate to start any misinformation. In general it bothers me if you were misinformed on the version.

take the noob with a smile on your face. It's a great watch. I take apart gen and rep watches habitually and I can vouch for the fit and finish of the noob both internally and externally compared to gen. It is a rare exception when KW or HF comes close.

I would say the updated kw case is better than noob v3 case. v3 lugs are sitting too high to the case, v4 fixes this. As for H factory, they are known to have better sausage dials than noob in general. If you are paying for v4, I would expect the TD to deliver a v4 case instead of selling v3 case at a v4 price. v3 is still a good rep regardless.

Thank you sir. I will just accept it since 99.99% people can't tell the difference between rep 005 and gen one, which means even fewer people can tell the difference between v3 and v4.
