I bought the above watch from Trusty time. As this was my first ever purchase of a replica watch, so I relied on this site, for a trusted dealer. All went well, as Andrew replied to emails promptly and arranged for the package to be posted out. Before I could commit to the purchase, I did a final comparison and found that there were cheaper watches out there. I immediately emailed Andrew to cancel the delivery but he claimed it was posted by then. He also advised that once received, I could send it back to him, for a full refund.

So received it in a week and as agreed, posted it back to him. As advised, I marked the item as a ‘toy watch for repairs’. It’s now more than two months and the Royal Mail tracking information comes back as ‘The import customs keep it for inspection’ Guangzhou City.

I have emailed Andrew on several occasions and he consistently denies that the Chinese Customs have ever got back to him. I find that strange, as usually, Customs get in touch with the recipient, if there are any queries or outstanding taxes etc to be paid

So at the moment, the watch is stuck in China. While Andrew denies any knowledge of it or the ability to help clear customs.
Whatever be the outcome, I would never buy a watch from Trust time ever again.

Regards

Mel

To get things straight, you did receive QC pictures, which you approved before this whole ordeal happened, right? Because if you did, I really don't think there's a whole lot Andrew can do here. I'd go as far as to say a lot of the blame is on your part. Doing your research prior to purchase is vital in this hobby. Sending it back definitely wasn't the right thing to do. There are much safer ways to recoup your funds, e.g. selling the watch here, on RWI. You would have to suck up the shipment costs but hey, I find that fair. The best course of action now is to email, or even better visit a branch office of the postal company you chose to use (in your case the Royal Mail) and see what then can do to help you out.

You're dealing with not exactly 100% products here. Not everything if gonna go smoothly. You're not ordering from Amazon.
Best of luck,
Kuriwaseku.

When will people get it through their thick heads that these reps are contraband. It is utterly ridiculous to try and put the responsibility for a seizure by customs on the TD. Every time one orders a rep from a TD it is a gamble. Adults should understand that anytime one gambles there is a possibility of losing. I personally would have never sent the watch back to China. Especially in light of all the raids that have taken place of late. You received the watch that you ordered. You beat the odds. The gamble paid off. The game went in your favor. You should have kept the watch and listed on RWI. It's ludacris to think that Andrew should be responsible for your loss. The moral of the story is: If you can't afford to lose don't play the game.

Wasn't it you who send it back to the hands of Chinese Customs Officers?

"Customs get in touch with the recipient, if there are any queries or outstanding taxes etc to be paid"

I think, Mr Two Posts, that you are not fully aware you are buying illegal items from people risking big fines and jail term.

There are a lot of stupid things one can do, like cutting off one's penis to see how much it hurts, or poking out one's eye, to see how much it effects peripheral vision, or trying to f*ck with your drug dealer, to see if he's really coming after you.
Not much lower on the scale is to ship contraband to a country where police kicks in the recipient's door if they feel like it. You may not have the stomach for this hobby, drMacF. If I receive contraband from the Fascist Republic of China and there is a mechanical problem with the watch, I inform the TD, hoping for a discount at the next order, then I mail it to a watchsmith in my country to take care of the mechanical issue. In doing so, I'll have it back a couple of weeks later, repaired, instead of wondering how long it will take for the watch to be destroyed and the factory that built it to be raided.
I suggest you write off that watch and see it as a valuable learning experience.

I have yet to order my 1st rep, but I will certainly not go about like you did @drmacf, I am already aware of the risks, and I accept them, I shall never lay any blame at the foot of the TD, when he has tried to be accommodating towards you. Write it off, and put it down to experience. The fact that you found it "cheaper", should tell you that it would not be as of the same standard of rep, as the one you purchased.

let's say, you could have informed yourself much better about the thousand useful and informative posts here on RWI. read and read and reread.
this is the only mistake you made man. at least serve you as a lesson.

ah, by the way, sending back to China a rep that, damn lucky, you received without problems from China, is madness.

At the start of my journey into replicas, I almost got burned. But after finding RWI, and Andrew at TrustyTime, I have had great experiences. Especially with Andrew. He has been very patient with me, and I received my first watch from him last year. Then ordered another, and got laid off. He cancelled my order and refunded my money when requested (watch had not shipped yet). Then this year, I ordered a watch on his website, and later found out it was not in stock (I was not aware of the raids). He once again refunded my money, and then I quickly ordered another. So far he has been very trustworthy. I am now waiting on watch 2 (just hit the USA couple of days ago), and keeping my fingers crossed. I can not imagine a more responsive and honest TD (I feel a bit of loyalty to him, so have not ordered from another yet, but I am sure there are plenty of good ones out there). Long story short, Andrew seems to be a stand-up guy, and RWI is a great resource.

I'm new to this hobby and just did my first purchase to Trusty Time. Andrew responds in no time and very helpful on all my queries.
I will surely order another watch to Andrew and will also recommend him to my friends.
Better you consider this as one of the lessons to this hobby which will help you avoid it in happening again in the future.
Keep safe and God bless.

In the same boat here. I'm not one of Trusty Fan boys like the rest. In my case, there were ZERO OPTIONS of negotiations, or replacement part discussions, it was fill out this form and sen it back with these instructions.

To say “oh you could’ve sold it on RWI or other options” is completely wrong. If Andy is trusty, than those options could easily have been presented just as easy as his copy & paste replied with how to return the watch.

Couldn't agree more. Replace "could" with "should"! Why would you EVER send a counterfeit item across international borders? He would have lost less money on M2M than he did with the parcel cost to China.

Why would you send a counterfeit a cross International borders? Seriously? This entire forum is based off of this. Common man. Easy with the fanboy c&@k riding comments.

I found a Truck Stop Hooker that was much cheaper than the Exotic Escort. So I decided to go with the Truck Stop Hooker, well now my dick has skittles growing on it. Should have went with the Exotic Escort who had a guarantee negative STD. Lesson learned.

How many post of your whining are you gonna make?

Im sorry. Let me apologize for not being considerate of your annoyance with people who don’t simply comply with your views and opinions. It must be tough.

There's two kinds of people:
1. TDs who know how to pull that off.
2. Guys who spend 150 bucks to get their rep delivered to a customs officer.
