Tank Solo size differences? (trusty)

Hello,
looking at Cartier Solos on trusty website and want to buy the Large size but cannot get good replies to my questions from Andrew and it's been several days of going back and forth. So trying here.

Does anyone understand what is the size difference of those two watches? Which one is the actual Large? Says case diameter for both is 28mm, so that implies "Large" for both but texts say Large or Midsize. What does Midsize even mean?

  • Case size: ~40.85 mm x 31 mm
  • Thickness: ~7.65 mm
  • Movement: Automatic (mechanical self-winding)
  • Wrist suitability: Larger wrists or those who prefer a more substantial timepiece.

They are both replicas of the same watch Large size Tank Solo.

What does midsize mean ? It means midsize , they go Small-Large -Xtra large .So it's in the middle, hence the midsize.

In your illustration ( from Cartier) the first figure is the length lug to lug and the second is the diameter .

One caveat the LARGE watch is tiny and classed as unisex .My father inlaw wears a gold one in the large size ,but he is a mini man and has very small wrists .On my wrist tbh it looks like a childs watch .

I have a SS XL which i wear as a dress watch but even then it is a tad small for my wrist .
