Tang buckle

I recently switched my Panerai watches from deployant to tang buckles. The buckles seem very sharp and are really tearing up my straps quickly. I believe they must be much sharper than the OEM buckles? Has anyone had this issue. I just plan to polish the edges a little.

Problem solved

Just used a dremel drill and smoothed the edges!

Glad to know you found a solution to your issue. The buckles I have (both rep and aftermarket) have smoothed inner edges FWIW.

I had 6 buckles from the original watches that I took off right off the bat. I went through all of them and only two of them had the really sharp edges (the first two I put on my new straps of course!). But now as I said they are smooth!
