Hi folks
I've recently completed a few build and was playing with the camera today, and some photos come out quite nice so I figured i'd share it with you to show off the builds but also to illustrate the differences between pre-V and modern dials, just for the kicks.
Sorry for the smudges etc
So what do we have here?
Well the always-favorite 201a, the build that I managed to finish after some 14 months of parts collecting etc. Very happy with the end result, the watch feels the part and looks like a 20-year old beast it supposed to be. Dial is the old series FDG that I picked up a long while ago.
The second is an in-bred fantasy of 292K and 380M, I kind of got bored with both and decided to put the sausage dial into the ceramic just for fun, and after wearing it for a day decided to leave it as is. Love the sausage on the black case and it has a great presence, very lovely piece.
Well here you are, onto the photos now...
201A in detail...
Some close-ups of the 292/380 in-bred...IMO, the H-fac dial is top noch, great texture, color etc:
Final shot, in goo dcompany of 029M:
