Tag Heuer Monaco V4

Just got an email this morning from Tag Heuer letting me know that the Monaco V4 is...well... awesome. So after watching their presentation i did some google research on the new V4, especially about the cost of said watch. That is when i came across this article and the price made me fall off my chair

"The purpose of the enterprise was to manufacture 150 "luxury pieces". These have the price tag to match at $125,000."

Note, $125k is in AUD which equates to about $115k USD with current exchange rates. Other articles on the net suggest a price tag of about USD $80-$100k so either way...its an expensive watch

having said that, the mechanics behind it is very impressive!

lets not forget the tens / hundred's of millions of $ Tag paid in the last years to
people like Boris Becker, Schuhmacher, Navratilova, Tiger Woods and many others.

these amounts are compensated by the IDIOT client.....

it makes me mad to see the price for such a non important watch......

i couldn't agree more mate. although i admire the mechanics behind that watch, the price tag is extreme but then again, i can't quantify the work involved to make even one of these time pieces. you're not wrong about Tag Heuer and the amount of money they spend on sponsorship and advertising tho
