While everybody in this hobby has their own opinions and tastes, I think everyone would agree that one of the all time Mack-Daddy timepieces is the great Steve McQueen/Walter White Tag Monaco 12.

How would you like to be able to add a 1:1 version of it to your watch box instead of the cheapie Quartz that currently exists? I know I would. Soooo let the power of the people make it happen. Post your feelings here and let's get some buzz going. It has to start somewhere!

Maybe we can get some dealers involved.

Aesthetically, the Quartz version's case is pleasing. So the factories are pretty close as of now. They just need a sweet automatic movement, QC and an accurate dial.

I'd be interested in this for sure. I went looking a while ago and was surprised for such a big name model it's not properly replicated.

That would be cool and I'd be in, but I would like a high quality version with a seiko vk quartz to avoid the sunken datewheel that the a7750 would have.

Yep, I'd be in. Have a cheapie quartz rep of this right now, but would love one to be close to the mark with a good automatic movement.

Did read somewhere that real-deal has some difficult to copy subdial functions. But a a rep that was of the same quality of the Panerais / Rolexs we see nowadays would be top of my shopping list.

Here is my Quartz version I just recently received from Hont. Like I said initially, it still is really beautiful. We need the more refined accuracy and a solid movement.

I know it's a Quartz but do the functions on this all work relatively as per gen or are they fake pushers? I am tempted if it's cheap enough!

My pushers work great. Top starts/stops chrono, bottom resets chrono to 12.

Date wheel works.

is it possible to get a movement to match the gen monaco? the quartz version, while close, still looks like a rep, I think it might be the sub dials that are too close to each other..
