Just recieved my TAG Grand Carrera Caliber 36 Quartz from Hont

Here are my comments :

Very good construction and bracelet specially after the oil bath .
Nice Dial
Good Weight
Nice AR

I have seen the Automatic version and it is a bit different

the number on the tachymeter are engraved but on the quartz ar printed
The crown falls off when setting time .. needs tightening
the texture of the middle triangle is different than the gen where in the rep they are wavy
the inner subdials are different than the gen
the gen is Automatic

There is no way to spot that it is a replica even from on foot .. but you know we sometimes demand a perfect watch for a few $$

I ordered it about 2 weeks ago . and he gave me the tracking number on the 8th of feb.

first i think he as busy before the new year and
second he sends it to a shipping company and gets the tracking number then.

I live in Bahrain and the shipment moved inside china then to hong kong , Dubai and finally Bahrain ..

I know it is painful to wait ...

yes it is cool ..

in the automatic version the chrono moves in a sweeping movement like the genuine so you can use the inner bezel ( check on youtube )

but this one moves second by second which is a bit disappointing to me ..

whatever .. who would use it in the first place .. i have a more accurate timer in my phone
