Hey guys, I won this Tag Heuer Aquaracer WBD218C.FC6447 on Ebay. I have been steering away from steel Aquaracers, because I have heard there are a lot of reps on Ebay with papers and everything. Not sure if the case is the same for the Carbon one. These are the photos from the seller plus a screenshot of the warranty check. I have not paid yet. From all the photos of the reps of this model, I saw they are using 540-544 out of 750 mostly for the limited edition number. I am not sure if the warranty check proves anything. Can you help me in any way?

Did you scan the QR on the tag? from experience they dont work or bring up something not specific to the model.

I would trust ebay unless it was a very traceable seller

What you can do is check the serial number on the tag guarantees website using the back door, There you will see all the information of the Tag... Ebay is full of scammers... even if they have a good track record

The instructions:
1. Go to TAG's serial number and warranty checker
2. Solve the captcha on the top if you get one
3. Right click on an empty space on the page and click "Inspect" . A window will open up, usually to you right.
4. On the top choose network, and a little below it click Fetch/XHR
5. Enter you serial number and proceed as usual
6. The "Name" column contain new items now, click on the one matching the pattern https://gw.was.tagheuer.com/api/external/aftersale?searchTerm=**
7. On the right side of the window click "Response"
8. Search the data for the information you want

Could you tell me what I should be looking for in that window? It seems it was bought in Singapore. The seller is in UK, so I would ask him about that.

In that window you will see the date of purchase, the address of the place where it was purchased, and even the seller's email ... corroborate that with the data of the warranty card ... these tags are extremely good replicas... and sometimes with all the data it is very difficult to know if you are on the right track... because they even come with the right movement.

What would that mean though? And why would the main site show a different year from the backend?
