My 2nd A7750 failed on me recently as the watch does not keep time. Works for few minutes and then just stops for no reason. I am considering replacing the movement with gen 7750 but i am not sure exactly which model to get (the one that will require least amount of modifications).
I understand that the base for grand carera 17 is 7750, however, date is @9, seconds @3 and chrono meter @9, so there is some sort of hack mechanism that i would have to port from the clone onto Gen ETA. The question is how easy do you reckon it would be and which base gen ETA is best for this kind of work?
Alternatively, do you have some other options/ideas?
