Tag F1 quartz movement from trusty time

Can anyone give me some advice on this watch?.. was thinking of picking one of these or similar as a daily wear watch, I am not Farmiliar with the gen so was wondering if anyone knew how close it looked In comparison and if anyone happens to have one if they would recommend?.

Date window is an obvious flaw if that bothers you

Yea I see that date window is quite a big tell...

A friend of mine had the same in gen for a few months. Honestly the rep is fine, yes the date is not fully aligned but otherwise it looks correct. For being around 1000$, the gen felt "cheap" to me when handling it, so the rep is probably not too far off from the handling perspective, except for maybe the bracelet.

Contacted pure time and trusty time and this watch is discontinued for a long while ... hopefully I can pick one up in the want to buy section.
