T48, what is it?

Just wondering, I have heard a lot about the T48 crown. All the good pams seems to be modded with that type of crown but I have not seen one that is not already mounted in a watch.
What is the difference between a t48 and the standard rep crown?
How can you buy them and how much do they cost?

T is a dealer member on repgeek and from the eu 48 is the no' of teeth the crown has per the gen. they are available in two versions spring loaded and non spring loaded.

Thanks! Exactly the type of replies I had hoped for. Now I know it is not unobtainable! Will buy one for my coming purchase of the dsn 24 if I don't find a used one with a t48 already installed.

They were the incorrectly 60 toothed crowns of the first run that "T" made.
It was quite amusing at the time

T60 is all wrong.

Also an ETA 7750 stem can be used in a manual T48 crown for use in a A7750
