Pre-Vendôme – 5218-207/A 1996 Slytech Daylight

Ologoff, thanks for the great post! I stop by RWI occasionally but rarely post. This thread caught my eye as the Slytech Pre-V watches are some of my favorite Panerai models. I thought I might share a build with those of you who don't venture away from this forum.

Build List:
• Dial: Gen Panerai 5218-207/A Pre-Vendôme Dial
• Crown: Gen Panerai Pre-Vendôme Crown
• Hands: Gen Tritium seconds hand / FGD minute/hour hands lumed by me
• Case: 111J hand shaped by w0lf
• Xstall: BigMatt C3
• Crown Guard: Fatty
• Caseback: Jakob 5218-207/A
• Movement: Swiss 6497

Case, cg, xstal, caseback and Pre-V box were all acquired from various forum members projects. The dial was purchased @ Risti when you could still buy parts there and the crown was found in my parts box. I don't know where I got it and wasn't aware of what it was until another member clued me in on what I had.

Gen is 30Kish, this was more inline with the cost of a base model.
