Swisswatchindia.in is a scam and a thief

I made the mistake of seeing a YouTube video and going to the website of a video recommendation. Yes I was an idiot. This was before finding this forum. Swisswatchindia.in flat scammed me out of a purchase of a Daytona Rolex grey dial black rubber strap. Made payment. They sent QC pics the next day with my name and order number. I approved. And now after a phony tracking number, numerous excuses and lies. I’m out close to 1K for a watch that wasn’t shipped. Make this known to all newbies. USE ONLY the TDs here for any purchases. There’s a reason they are TDs. I’ve now made purchases from a few different TDs. Just to see who I enjoy working with. What to expect and to what extent I can trust them. Ultimately it’s whomever you feel the most comfortable with. But DO NOT use someone off the TD list. Unless you can burn cash and learn your own lessons. My mistake was with swisswatchindia.in, and it won’t happen again.

I haven’t had any bad experiences from any of these 4 TDs. The one schmuck that wasn’t a TD got the best of me. My own stupidity. But others need to know.

Counterpoint from another new member - I’ve bought 4 Rolex super clones (3 Daytonas and a sub bluesy) from fishysoundingdealer and so far 3 of them have been received as expected - I’m glad to be patient on the 4th one. I found this forum last week and decided to buy my next rep Daytona from a TD so I can compare experiences and quality.

^ Very happy to see the chronometer functions all work and all reps are keeping time. Overall, I was planning to buy 4 to 6 more reps from them. Going to give InTime a shot though and see how the process works - you don’t get a choice on the factory when you buy from fishysoundingdealer

Like the OP, I saw the same YouTube video in which a Daytona Panda rep was reviewed, and clicked the link in the description to see what else they had. I rolled the dice to get the bluesy, and when it arrived I took a Loupe to it and was really impressed. That led to 3 more orders.

I think it is good that you got what you paid for. I can see how its a hit and miss for this site with different members and I will advocate guys sticking to proven dealers. Do you happen to know what factories your watches are from?

This group does not disclose which factory they source to fill their orders, so I don’t know. In the end, how does anyone really know which factory filled their order - aside from taking the dealers word for it in the description?

As a matter of fact, most members here know which factory the watches are from. There are identifying marks on dials, bracelets, case etc, and these can be matched to forum discussions to ascertain the factory.
I guess it is mostly a matter of how much you pay vs what you get. Worth is subjective, so if you are happy with what you get, all good.

Will be very curious to see how the Noob factory version I ordered from a TD compares to the 3 other Daytonas I got from fishysoundingdealer. Pricing is the same, but time will tell on the rest of the equation.
