Swiss or not Swiss... that is the question.

Canada, but in Hungary... for now
Hello experts!
Due to circumstances beyond my control, I have been out of the rep game for a while.
I have a couple of watches that I bought quite a long time ago and I'm not sure of the movements.
I do remember that the sellers said they 'might be Swiss', but there was no proof and I can't find the original sale threads.
The first is from a Ploprof and the second is from a Superocean II.
Any help would be much appreciated!

They both have ETA markings, they look good to me. Just the "2824-2" stamp on the Breitling is a bit funny, but I've never seen an asian clone who replicated the ETA embossed mark. I'm relatively new to the game though, so maybe they did in the past

Eta markings are quite common on Asian clones, but both of these look legit Swiss to me.

That's good to know, none of my A2824 (the 3-4 I opened) have them, but all were bought in the last 2 years.

The Asian counterfeits are getting better, reaffirming the advice to “Never buy Swiss goods from China” .

For what it’s worth, I recently got a 2836 clone that was advertised with the ETA mark but does not actually have it (fine with me). I think many of the sellers use stock photos.

Those NOVODIAC spring grooves/ridges for the cap jewels are colossal... I mean. An improvement, going from one ridge to three makes it hell of a lot easier to deal with when servicing but... Yuck.

Luckily they are still rounded instead of the angular shape of the gen, so they can still be spotted with close inspection.
They’re also making incablocs as well

remember these are older pieces, so the machining and duplication was not as good. I agree with @mclarendude they look genuine to me.
