Hello,

I am new to this site, so my question has probably already been answered. In any case, can someone respond and tell me if any replica selling Breitlings with a Swiss movement are legitimate? If not, can someone tell me which dealer is preferred for purchasing a Breitling Navitimer B01? I’m sure there are many, but I’m looking for a site that someone has purchased such a watch from.

thank you in advance

It's a Scam.
Hi and welcome to RWI! Glad you found your way here.

Please take some time to read the sticky threads in the new members area (all subsections), learn the basic forum rules and get some very good advice in the process. A number of questions has already been answered there, this is just an example:

As a new subscriber, you've already been directed to this thread, please read carefully and look through the linked additional threads:

Another good thread to read to understand where RWI comes from and some fundamentals is this:

Most of the information you need to know to start is there. If you're preparing to buy, read the stickies before ordering. When you're finished, you can continue learning by reading the stickies in all remaining sections. If it's stickied, it's important information.

If you intend to sell, read the sales rules and all stickies in the sales section with particular care and make sure you understand each single rule. Sales rules infraction is taken very seriously here. As a new member you are not eligible to sell. Using the sales section is a privilege, eligibility must be earned, make sure you know and understand how.

For anything else, feel free to reach out to @eBoy or me, we're happy to assist, advise, direct, explain. Don't hesitate.

Put simply, unless it's a piece that someone has modified, you will not find one of those with a Swiss movement. Even if you find a modded one, it will not have the b01 movement, only a7750. There are some models that do come with Swiss movements but they are far and few between, some of the tag aquaracers come with sw200 movements.

Yes exactly correct

If you are referring to B01 movements, most are A7750 or modified A7750 movements.

There used to be Breitlings (non chronograph) with Swiss ETA 2824/2836 but these are no longer in the market now

Thanks

Thank you for responding. I understand about the 7750 configuration - I just sold a genuine one. I just figured that after 15 years of looking at replicas somebody somewhere must have contracted to create a modification to fit all the chronograph replicas out there. But, I was wrong.

The current B01 movement from Breitling is an in-house made movement by the Breitling brand.

So it is a little different from the Valjoux 7750 movement.

Thanks
