Hi All

I wonder if anyone knows if I can fit a Swiss mouvmemt in the explorer 1655. What kind of Swiss mouvmemt I can fit and have the gmt works? And if not possible with gmt working, is there any Swiss mouvmemt that will fit without gmt working?

Thank in advance

Bono

Hi Bono,

I recommend (1) buying an ETA 2836-2 (highbeat 28,880 bph) or ETA 2846-2 (lowbeat 21,600 bph) then (2) buying a hangzhou H6460 (an Asian 2836-2 GMT movement), then (3) swap over the gmt gears and taller cannon pinion from the H6460 to your Swiss ETA.

You will also need to make sure your existing 1655 hands are for ETA sizes so that it can fit onto the new ETA movement

thanks a lot.

Right now the watch have a Dg 3804B mouvmemt installed. Any Swiss for easier swap is available?
