Hey guys

I'm planning (in the long term) on installing a Swiss 7750 into one of my watches (the spaceX Tag)

It has a display back with gorgeous plates. My question is a very simple one, but I was unable to find the answers here on the forum

When I purchase a stock Swiss 7750, can those custom plates and declarations be moved over to preserve the look of the display back?

Many thanks

You'll have to consult with your watchsmith so they can see if they are compatible. Most parts are interchangeable between the ETA and A7750. I did a swap in my Skyland Avenger to gen, but opted to not swap the decorated rotor as I was going for reliability (and mine was a closed case back). Definitely a nice swap, one I suggest if you can. Does yours have a modified hand position? That may limit your ability to swap if it uses a modifier plate to move the subdials.

Thanks for the reply Teddy - much appreciated

Its a sec@9, vanilla - http://chazingtime.com/product/carr...o-v6f-11-best-edition-on-ss-bracelet-cal1887/

But the back plates are gorgeous and I don't want to lose them - So I'll grab an other A7750 from the factory if mine craps out and they can not be replaced

Sweet watch! When/if the time comes, the movement mist likely will he able to be serviced. Remember, service cost is about $250 and a gen ETA costs $450 plus $50-$100 to install, so you would need to decide which is the better way to go. I have swapped two of mine to gen. Just an fyi, the chronograph seconds hand is the only part that is not a direct swap, so if you are considering this, keep an eye on eBay and grab a handset when they pop up.
