Swiss 6497-1 H movement with swan neck

Hi all,

I wonder how long does the caption movement run after full winding (wind until cannot further wind) my 217 last less than 24 hours. is that normal? Thanks.

All my 6497 and 6498 movements average between 48 and 52 hours.

some last 35 hrs.....some 40.....

i wind mine a bit during wearing.

thanks for the reply. Mine actually running shorter and shorter. I guess I should send it back for a check up :?

Yes, 24hrs or less PR is definitely a sign that something isn't right. Hopefully it's just a dirty or overly oiled movement and nothing serious.
