Swapping Bezels on the VSF 126610LV

Hey there,

So I'm wondering how swappable the VSF bezels are either with other factory bezels or failing that, VSF bezels from other models (126610LN/116610LN) n the newer submariners. I understand there is unfortunately a slight difference between VSF and gen bezel dimensions.

Ideally I'd like to buy a black bezel for my Starbucks Submariner and swap between them (like having 2 different watches!)

Also would be great if anyone had a source for one of these (that would fit)

You would need to get a 12 series bezel. 11 series of course will not fit to my knowledge.

This is also tricky work. I would not go swapping a ceramic bezel unless you have the tools to do so. They are very fragile.

I had the same thought when I bought my VSF Starbucks. Unfortunately, even though it seems like it should be more efficient to just change bezels, it isn't. Even if you do it right and replace the hytrel ring every time, its a pain to do, and you risk having your bezel pop off at a inconvenient time and the little springs will go flying. The individual parts are also more expensive than you'd think. I now have a starbucks, a cookie monster, and an LN.

I though t that might be the case which is too bad because that's a shame. I might trade the LV for an LN at some point tbh

You can buy just the 126610 LN insert on Ali Express. The best quality ones aren't cheap though. Best handled as a one time swap. You can ask a TD for a less expensive one like from BP or GMF. All TDs can get parts though their willingness can depend on your order size. I nearly always order parts when I buy a new watch.

For the price, wouldn't it be worth just putting. a WTB or finding a preowned whole VSF watch here on RWI. might save a lot of hassle, but maybe not as fun as chasing a bezel across the room as it flies off!
