Attached is a photo of the inside of a cheap blue dial oyster perpetual I bought. I love the watch, but the movement stutters with gravity and I hate it. I have some experience with Seiko modding but haven't changed movements before. I understand I'll need new hands for the watch along with the movement, and to clip the dial feet.. I just need some tips on where to source a new movement from - that will also include a movement holder for keeping in the case.

Thanks in advance for your help

Have you considered the 4813 movement, it is the same as the 2813 but geared differently to beat at 28,800 VPH. It is a direct swap, the only problem may be the hour hand. Also available through eBay. Just an idea.

You could purchase another 2813! They are fairly cheap and you can buy a few for less than $40 on eBay. Have one on a watch for 12 years and changed the case from Rafflesdials.com
Ken is a good person and my watch keeps on ticking. Especially that this is a replica, you will only have to replace the movement.
