Swap Asian A2892-2 for ETA 2892-2?

Guys, can anyone help me to understand whether I could swap out an A2892-2 movement for the genuine ETA 2892-2 on a M+F Mark XVIII? Would everything fit 1:1 (dial, case, hands) or would the watch need to be modified in some way? I couldn't find anything that addresses this on the forum. Many thanks!

yes but there might be decorative plates depending on what watch you are talking about that need to be moved over to the swiss

Thanks....so definitely no problem with the dial and hands? Probably just move the signed rotor (solid caseback and I am more interested in reliability than anything else)....but keep the Swiss bearing! Very helpful, thanks!

I did it on a Mark XVI and I'm very happy with the result. No problems with dial or hands. Can't remember whether I moved the rotor over but it doesn't matter much IMO with a closed case back.

Sorry, forgot to ask. Would I be able to swap the date wheel over from the Asian to the ETA? Thanks

Hi @yodog, you helped me with a GEN 7750 last year. I am looking at the IWC V7F Titanium. I am reading on other posts that there may be some issue with the hand size on the GEN 2892 and the A2892 and honing. From this post it looks like hand size won't be a problem. Please confirm. Thank you in advance!
